CALEB MISSIONS
MY STORY
MY TESTIMONY
Growing up, my best friend was my oldest brother, Josh. During my ninth year of grade school, Josh took his own life. This started a year and a half-long cycle of loneliness and depression. I eventually grew tired of the sorrow and readied to end my own life in a bathroom stall at a high school dance.
It was there that God met me. He stopped me from repeating my brother's mistake, and He showed me love. He hugged me while I stood there in the bathroom, and He reminded me that He loves me. He filled me with strength and peace. He took my tragedy and helped me triumph. God has promised me that no matter what I may go through, He will always be there to comfort and protect me. It hasn't been easy, but He has been faithful and has fixed my broken heart. Since then, I have been in love with God.
WHY YWAM
Ever since God rescued me, I knew in my heart that God wants to do the same for every person on the planet. YWAM takes that knowledge and acts it out. They take teams year-round and send them to the least reached nations in the world to love and serve God and others. People who have never heard the name of "Jesus" uttered get to hear it, and they hear what it means to us. YWAM's purpose is to know God and to make Him known.

THE NEXT STEP IN MY JOURNEY
In June 2016, I finished my six-month-long Discipleship Training School (DTS) at YWAM Honolulu. Those six months were the best months of my life. After coming back home to Alaska, I prayed a lot and sought Godly counsel to figure out what I'm doing next in my life.
Through that process, I decided that I'm going to be a staff member in Honolulu in the beginning September of 2016. Now, as 2017 begins, I will be in multiple positions. For the time being, I will be head of the yard department. That means keeping the trees and hedges trimmed, the paths clear, and the grass short, plus whatever projects pop up. It's a lot of work, but with a bunch of students helping out, the work flies by. On top of that I will be helping out in the marketing and design department, using my artistic abilities in whatever way I can to help. I also will be head of the events planning on base, and helping wherever I can in the local ministries we have in Honolulu.

GIVING

You Can Get on Board
You're not donating to "Caleb's trip", you're putting effort into the expansion of the Kingdom of God. This isn't "Caleb helping those who need it." Your putting your resources towards an expansion of the family of Christ. So... thank you. Thank you so much for the thoughts, the prayers, and the financial support. I need to raise at least $800 each month. The first $350 will be used while I'm at the base for housing and food. Another $100 will be used for transportation and team activities. The rest will be used to fund future missions trips to unreached nations in South East Asia. I'm currently at $650 a month. That means if two of you donated $25 a month, two more donated $50 a month, and one of you donated $100 a month, we will reach our goal.
